What we do:

  • Animal models of muscular diseases and gene therapy approaches
  • Induced pluripotent stem cell-based in vitro models of neuromuscular and muscular diseases (Disease in a Dish).
  • Diseases under study include Duchene muscular dystrophy, limb-girdle muscular dystrophy, distal arthrogryposis, ALS, Alzheimer’s disease and Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.
