  • Aim 1. Investigate the neuroprotective role of normal astrocyte-derived extracellular vesicles on neuronal survival<\/li>

  • Aim 2. Investigate the physiologic effect and mode of astrocyte-mediated neuromodulation in normal and ALS mutant condition,and identify molecular drivers of the observed phenotypic change using human iPSC-derived spinal astrocytes and motor neurons.<\/li>
  • Aim 3. Assess physiological relevance of the iPSC-spinal motor neurons by comparing transcriptomic trajectories of differentiating in vitro culture to that of the developing human spinal cord<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
