Biographical Profile

Andrew Jopson has worked as a Research Scientist with the Department of Family Medicine since 2017. He conducts research studies within The Collaborative for Rural Primary care Research, Education and Practice (Rural PREP) and The Center for Health Workforce Studies (CHWS). His previous work largely focused on long-term care, including advocacy and policy research on housing-related provisions under Medicaid 1915(c) HCBS waivers with The Center for Consumer Engagement in Health Innovation at Community Catalyst. His master’s thesis focused on contingent work arrangements among workers in long-term care.
