Information about the Study

If you currently live in Michigan or have lived in Michigan, we'd like to hear from you. Do you think Michiganders have their own way of speaking English? We'd like to know what you think.

This study is conducted by researchers at the University of Washington, Michigan State University, and the University of Kentucky and supported by the Language Learning Center of the University of Washington.

This questionnaire asks for your opinions about Michigan English. It should take about 20 minutes. There are no right or wrong answers.

We do not ask for your name, but we will ask questions about you such as how long you've lived in Michigan, your age, your ethnicity, and what languages you know. No reports of this research will identify you in any way.

You must finish the questionnaire in one session. If you quit you can't come back to finish. If you change your mind about participating, you can quit at any time and your responses won't be used.
