DIVA is not running optimally on the LSRII, CantoRUO, and Aria 3 due to the age of the database, size, and the number of old experiments in user folders. Removing the data from the export folders does not alleviate these issues. For the program to respond reliably, a clean DIVA install is needed.

What this means is the users' accounts and passwords will need to be reset, and all experiments in user folders will be deleted. The data however is saved to the Google Drive and my additional backup drives.

If you have an experiment you use regularly that you "Duplicate without Data", it will no longer be in your account. To save this experiment, you will need to export it as a Template before we install the new copy of DIVA. Instrument setting can be retrieved by importing a data file from a previous experiment if you do not have time to come to the facility before the install occurs. We are planning the install on this Friday November 19th. We cannot extend this timeframe on the LSRII as it is crashing and freezing regularly.

We will create new user accounts on the cytometers for you when you come to use the instruments. If you are primarily an afterhours user, contact us at flowlab@uw.edu to have us setup the account for you and provide a temporary password that you can change once you come to use the instrument.
