Activities: Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity, Peer Coach- Foster Undergraduate Career Services, Study Abroad- Rotterdam School of Management, Spring ’16, Dawg Pack Advisory Committee, Foster Global Student Ambassador, Case Competitions, CFA Society of Seattle, and Intramural Sports

Why Foster?: I chose Foster because of my love for not only the state of Washington, but for the University of Washington as well. I have always wanted to be a Husky since I was a little kid and I am grateful to get the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of my dad at the Foster School of Business.

Over Summer Break I…was a Financial Advisor Intern at Merrill Lynch in Bellevue, WA

After graduation,  I plan to…pursue a career in either Consulting or Private Wealth Management and travel the world

Advice to future students: College goes by in the blink of an eye, take it day by day, figure out what you love and have a great time! Don’t be scared to ask questions or pursue potential interests, at such a big school you have to figure out your fit.

About the Undergraduate Program

The Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration builds foundational knowledge of business which students enhance with specialization in the fields of accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, human resources, information systems, international business, marketing, and operations/supply chain management. In the classroom and out, students learn strategic approaches to working on and leading teams, practice critical thinking and analysis while cementing theoretical knowledge, and acquire work experience through internships.

Undergraduate Strategy Development Competition

The undergraduate program at the Foster School partners with Seattle’s thriving and innovative business community to develop forward-looking, customized cases centered on a current strategic issue. The result of this partnership is a capstone course, Strategic Business Management, taken during one quarter of senior year, which positions student teams in front of executives to make formal presentations on their recommendations.
