Research Interests

As a Clean Energy ALVA intern during the summer of 2015, Richard worked in the Siedler Lab. The goal of his project was to use advanced x-ray spectroscopic to try to better understand the degradation of Pb-perovskite photovoltaics engendered as a result of weathering and light exposure. The purpose of this expire mentioned was to better understand the degradation process, which would lead to more efficient and cost effective Pb-perovskite photovoltaics.

Richard is currently in his first year at the University of Washington.
