Racquel graduated from Holy Names Academy in Seattle, WA in 2016. During high school she actively participated in Varsity Lacrosse, Robotics, National Honors Society and Youth Group.

Research Interests

As a GenOM ALVA intern during the summer of 2016, Racquel worked with Bryan Jensen at the Center for Infectious Disease Research (CIDR). Her project focused on constructing vectors with the proper inserts for the testing of Bartonella disease. Bartonella is a disease that is transmitted through ectoparasites, or scratches from infected cats.

Racquel is continuing to focus on her bachelors degree.
