Get Involved – Alums – Ambassador Committee

For experienced alum mentors, the Department of Geography now offers additional pathways to deepen your participation in our alum community! In collaboration with the Geography Advising Office, the Alum Ambassador Committee meets regularly during the academic year to plan logistics, create curriculum and recruit alum volunteers for the alum mentorship program.

Mission Statement

The Alum Ambassador Committee fosters connections within the Department of Geography community of current students, alums, faculty and staff.

Goals

These connections contribute to the committee’s three central goals:

  1. Build a network of engaged UW geography alums,
  2. Create avenues for department community members to access this network, and
  3. Promote this network as a resource for community members’ personal, professional and academic development.
