LONGENECKER AND MASYUKO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>February is American Heart Month, so we sat down with Department of Global Health faculty members\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/globalhealth.washington.edu\/faculty\/chris-longenecker\">Dr. Chris Longenecker<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/globalhealth.washington.edu\/faculty\/sarah-masyuko\">Dr. Sarah Masyuko<\/a>\u00a0from the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/globalcardio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Global Cardiovascular Health\u00a0Program<\/a>\u00a0to discuss their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/professional.heart.org\/en\/research-programs\/aha-funded-research\/health-equity-research-network-on-rural-health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">heart health research in rural communities<\/a>\u00a0and its connection to global health.<\/p>\n<p>The University of Washington School of Medicine\u00a0is the\u00a0coordinating center for the Rural PRO-CARE HERN grant, and is managed by a team led by Dr. Longenecker.
