They concluded that decolonization of global health involves:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Overhauling existing unequal power structures,<\/li>\n<li>Establishing agency and self-determination of the Global South,<\/li>\n<li>Epistemic reformation and epistemic and ontological pluralism,<\/li>\n<li>Education, and<\/li>\n<li>Inclusivity, solidarity, and allyship.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>They noted that only 22% of first authors of retrieved articles had an affiliation in a low- and\/or middle-income country.
