Tessa Concepcion holds a PhD in Global Health Implementation Science from the University of Washington and an MS in Global Health from Duke University. Her research centers on designing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based interventions to support health and quality of life of women and children in low-resource, high-need settings.<\/strong> Her doctoral work examined early implementation factors for integrating long-acting PrEP into antenatal care in Kenya.<\/p>\n

Dr. Concepcion previously led a national study on the burden of pediatric surgical conditions in Somaliland and has expertise in mixed methods research, perinatal mental health, mental health systems analysis, and intervention delivery.<\/p>\n

Currently, Tessa is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at St. Jude Children\u2019s Research Hospital and works part-time to support Global WACh studies.<\/p>\n
