Her work focuses on HIV incidence and service uptake among adolescent girls. She is also supporting the development of manuscripts related to HIV for the Global Burden of Disease (GBD).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before joining IHME, Bricia earned her PhD in Epidemiology from Drexel Dornsife School of Public Health in Philadelphia. Her doctoral dissertation focused on gender inequality and gender-based violence in Latin American cities.
