Call for Applications: Jewish Studies Graduate Fellowship Program

The Stroum Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Washington is now accepting applications for supplemental graduate fellowships for the 2014-2015 academic year. Any graduate student planning to be enrolled at the University of Washington for the 2014-2015 academic year is eligible to apply, as long as they can demonstrate a connection between their research and Jewish Studies topics. The amount per fellowship will be $3000. Multiple fellowships are available.

Berman Foundation Dissertation Fellowships in Support of Research in the Social Scientific Study of the Contemporary American Jewish Community (deadline: March 14, 2014)

The Berman Dissertation Fellowships – two awards of $16,000 each for the 2014-15 academic year – aim to support the development and expansion of the field of the social scientific study of Jewish Americans and the contemporary Jewish-American experience, enhance funding opportunities for up-and-coming scholars, and encourage graduate students in the social sciences to expand their research to include study of North American Jewry.
