10:00 am: Forest Bathing Walk at The Washington Park Arboretum – Cost: $25, register online or by phone. Forest bathing has been popular in Japan for decades & is gaining momentum in the US. The practice encourages you to walk in the forest at a slower pace & take in the atmosphere around you. These walks are slow-paced & generally cover less than a mile of trail. During this time the guide will offer a series of invitations crafted to help participants slow down & open their senses.
