For 20 years, Rebecca Alexander was a mainstay of the Elisabeth C. Miller Library staff.\u00a0 Rebecca retired at the end of June 2025, but ![\"\"](\"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/hortlib\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-1-3.png\")
before she went, I asked about her favorite books in the Miller Library collection.\u00a0 I was not surprised that the list of books \u201cthat have made a lasting impression\u201d she provided was extensive and quite varied.\u00a0 Many are in her personal collection.<\/p>\n
