The University of Washington Health Promotion Research Center (UW HPRC) collaborates with communities to conduct research on a broad range of health promotion topics, including healthy aging, cancer prevention and control, workplace health, physical activity, depression management, and brain health.
In all of our research and program activities, we seek input and involvement from partners in order to achieve lasting results. Our partners in this work include community members, public health departments and professionals, neighborhood associations, social service agencies, other research centers, and regional and national organizations, among other collaborators.
Thank you to all our partners, without whom we could not do this work!
Community Advisory Board
Our Community Advisory Board members provide a practical perspective on community priorities, insight about potential collaborations, and input about our research, practice, and program implementation. These members include people from local, community-based organizations as well as larger, national organizations. We are also honored to have older community members who have participated in our programs serve on the board as advocates for older adults and advisors for programs.
