\"cancer<\/figure>\n

The National Institutes of Health\u2019s National Cancer Institute<\/a> is funding the creation of six implementation science centers focused on cancer control. The creation of these centers are part of NIH\u2019s Cancer Moonshot initiative<\/a> to make more therapies available and improve prevention and detection. One of the six centers will be at the UW Department of Health Services*, part of the School of Public Health.<\/p>\n

The director of the Health Promotion Research Center (HPRC), Peggy Hannon, will be a co-principal investigator on the project.<\/p>\n
