I completely agree with you. However, I'd like to add that agriculture also plays a big impact on the environment. For example, if you feel bad when you take a long shower or leave the tap running then consider the animal products you eat - eating one hamburger is equivalent to two months of however much the average person showers. That's a lot of water, think about it. Of course, burning fossil fuels, deforestation and the over use of resources are huge problems. In fact, these practices are all used for the making of meat/dairy products - we cut down forests so that we have more farmland, we burn fossil fuels to transport the goods, and of course we use tons and tons of feed (that could go to humans) and water to sustain farm animals.

One way that humans are constantly contributing to the rising of climate change is through deforestation. Forests and wetlands are currently being destroyed in order to make a profit from logging or construction. They do this from a process called clearcutting which is when every tree or native plant is destroyed within a single area and nothing is left. Climate change happens naturally in multiple ways, like the release of Methane from cows, but we humans excel the rate for global temperature rise by multitudes. We use machinery and factories that release hundreds of tons of CO2 and other green house gasses. The gasses are great at trapping temperature because they're magnetically of balance with their charges. When heat hits them the jiggle and trap the energy in heat form. Cows--- the source of all our dairy--- release methane, a global-warming inducing chemical, through their digestive system.(As in, when they b*rp or far*...) Personally, I am the only dairy eater in a lactose-intolerant family, but I still feel that we could cut back on the dairy so that farms don't breed cows so much, and so (Hopefully) the amount of methane going into the atmosphere will reduce. (Lactose-free ice cream is good, people!) This is just a thought, but personally, I will try to cut back on the dairy. A pebble in the ocean still creates a ripple! Climate change is definitely real and human caused. In the short time humans have been around compared to the existence of earth, humans have managed to alter the atmosphere and impose irreversible damage to our climate. Climate change, started by the industrial revolution, is a problem that we all face now, not only the greenhouse effect but also the raising of ocean levels. This has resulted in an increase of average temperature in the world, which lead to harsh results. Hotter summers is an example of one. With hotter summers, hyperthermia is just a problem that more and more people will face. With limited space, urbanization has also came into place, leading to the need of more cement for the construction of buildings. Consider this, 1 kg of cement results in the release of 0.9 tons of carbon dioxide, which is harsh for all. I agree with the facts provided here. Climate change has become increasingly evident and the impacts of humanity's carbon emissions are being felt throughout the globe. Because of the increase in the frequency of natural disasters (i.e. hurricanes, wildfires, droughts, torrential rainfall), it should be harder and harder for people to deny the existence of climate change. One of the biggest issues with climate change is the lack of action and I think once people start personally feeling its impacts, action will be easier, but until then it is a hard battle to fight. I agree that continuous deforestation is one of the most pressing issues right now and would have incredible impacts if more conservation was pursued. I also agree that significant lifestyle changes would need to accompany any large-scale action combatting climate change (i.e. the full removal of gas-powered vehicles, decreases in the consumption of meats, conscious consumerism, etc.). If action is not taken soon, the consequences you mention will be inevitable.

I agree with this statement. Obviously the climate of the earth has been increasing. However, it has been increasing a lot faster compared to before people. There isa really important distinction between natural climate change and human induced climate change for sure. In a book that I've been reading for my climate change class, the distinction has been described as "cold to cool" climate change vs. "cool to hot" climate change. This makes me think of the slow carbon cycle. While fossil fuels would make their way out of the ground eventually through erupting volcanoes and add carbon to the atmosphere, it is human action that speeds that process up. When we deliberately dig up fossil fuels for energy that would have taken hundreds of years to resurface, we are adding so much more carbon to the atmosphere than would naturally find its way back out of the atmosphere, messing up the careful balance that the slow carbon cycle set up by itself. I agree with your answer, most of climate change is from human carbon footprint.  According to the source “EPA United States Environmental Protection Agency,” It states the contributors of carbon footprint are 28% from  transportation, 25% electrical power, 23% from industry, agriculture, commercial and residential.  The following has to do with us human, we work in the industry, use electricity, live in homes,  and we use gas. We Use it when we go to school, driving  to get Starbucks.  Which is why we are the most contributors to carbon. And with the huge amount of carbon that's produced, that adds to  the climate change. Natural disasters such as floods, storms, and hurricanes can also affect decomposition because hurt the ecosystem therefore affecting the decomposition process. The reason why the African region is at risk, is because do to terrible governments and war. I saw a documentary about the DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo). Are cellphones are made up of a material call Coltan it's a metallic ore it's only found in the soil in the Congo rainforest. The deforestation in that country is terrible, two weeks ago I did an assignment about elephant ivory how it's solid in the black market. If you want to know why poachers are doing this is to finance conflicts and wars. Elephants are now an endangered species and that is not good. Elephants eat plants that are toxic to humans and some of those plats resale carbon  and if they are extinct that is not good. right now the African regions need to find a solution to their ecological deficit.

It is very intriguing and hopeful when I see countries like the USA and other western countries so green although often we are under the assumption that we do a very poor job at protecting the environment. Although we definitely could do a much better job, compared to the continent of Africa it is discouraging to see how poor they are at protecting their environment.

These statistics are actually very shocking to me. I really expected the more industrialized nations like the U.S., Russia, and the European countries to be way more at risk. Hi! I completely agree with your post and found it to be very interesting. With the chart you've attached to your post I was very surprised to see America in the green. We seem to be such a wasteful and careless country when it comes to the environment and protecting it. We don't have programs in place(or at least very many widely successful) to be preventive or reactive to environmental harm we see and experience. I however was not surprised to see places like Switzerland in the green.I just completed a project on how environmentally aware Switzerland is and all the efforts they are taking to be conscious of the carbon footprint they are leaving on the world.

As most of these countries that are more likely to be affected by climate change are countries with very horrible living conditions because of their governments status or economy in that country. But there are exceptions such as countries that mostly used for manufacturing or deforestation to supply the countries that are not at risk of climate change. Because of this I hope that instead of a few countries being targeted or concentrated to destroy themselves to be more susceptible to climate change it can regulated to a point that the pollution of the that one country be separated to other parts of the world so it would barely hurt countries collectively instead of damaging one country completely. Climate change is a density independent factor that is produced mainly by the human race.  Some of the causes of climate change are the burning of fossil fuels and cutting down trees. Fossil fuels include  oil, gases, and coal. When fossil fuels burn those resources they release gases that trap heat in the air which causes the earth to be hot. Cutting down trees also creates climate change, because trees purify the carbon gases that we’re inhaling and so if there’s a small amount of trees then there won't be enough resources to purify our oxygen.

When I was younger and I first heard about climate change, or global warming as it was called, I thought that no matter how bad it got I would be fine because where I lived was cold. Those were the thoughts of a very young child. Climate change has already caused major change in weather patterns that have caused increases in hurricanes and other natural disasters that have killed many, but it continues to grow. Since we started burning fossil fuels on a large scale, the global temperature has risen by over 1 degrees Celsius uncharacteristically fast. This has caused disruption in ecosystems around the world, and it continues to grow worse. Also, just because it is natural doesn't mean that we should not help and try to reduce our impact on climate change. I agree that humans are not the only cause of climate change. Though I would say that humans play a major role in climate change and possibly the most fault when it comes to negatively affecting it. Naturally the Earth has greenhouse gases to keep the Earth  habitable and functional. Climate change is being caused by human activity ever since the human population has been growing since the 1900s we went through the industrial revolution. This would introduce tons of factories that would produce smog and fill up the atmosphere and that's when we started to heat up the globe causing global warming.

I 100% agree. Animals produce greenhouse gasses on their own, but the rate at which humans kill and abuse these animals heightens the release of greenhouse gases. Cows for example release large amounts of methane in their manure and through forms of gas called enteric emissions. There are over 90 million cows in the U.S. and a total of 1 billion worldwide - you can only imagine how that adds up. Humans are also responsible for climate change when it comes to their carbon footprint. I take ownership for the ways I contribute as well because when using the carbon footprint calculator my footprint was substantially higher than the average American. I had a footprint of 16,871 kgs where as the average person has a footprint of 9,727 kgs. The biggest contributor to my footprint is the home category. In the summer I tend to sleep with a fan on and in the winter a heater. Heat forms like furnaces burn fossil fuels or space heaters use electricity that is generated from a mix of fossil fuels, same with cooling systems. The small things that you use in your everyday life are contributing to the over-production of heat trapping fossil fuels which is contributing to over-heating and climate change. Mainly, climate change is caused by the human race. We are causing all the problems that are destroying our planet, because we don t want to change to a healthy lifestyle and a more economical one.Some of us are too comfortable with the things that are happening in this world right now and it shows. While individual impact does play a significant role in climate change, major corporations and governments have much more of an impact on climate change than just our lifestyles. Climate change deniers cause more co2 emissions than anyone else as they cause it regularly as a person and prevent change to current systems.  But why do they not believe in climate change even though there is so much evidence for it? I do think Climate Change is real & Human-caused due to the overuse of fossil fuels (including coal and natural gas are some examples) that are caused by Human production. These fuels contain carbon inside of them, and when burned they release these carbons into the atmosphere. Too much carbon in the atmosphere needed to support life on Earth can start to warm up the Planet. But, daily things like driving cars, to activities like flying on planes also contribute to a large amount of carbon emissions. In an article called, Issue Brief | The Growth in Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Commercial Aviation (2019, revised 2022) stated “commercial airplanes and large business jets contribute 10 percent of U.S. transportation emissions.” With airplanes causing 10% of the greenhouse gas emissions, one way people could solve this problem would be to use a cleaner gas to power the planes.

Humans are constantly using cars to get themselves from place to place. While it is a more efficient way of transportation, it has been proven to increase climate change, and the carbon being released from the vehicles. Diving into further explanation, those cars that are being driven by humans are partially responsible for climate change, making humans the criminals in this situation.

I think this is very true but also that no matter what it will still always be a contributing factor considering that most people are unwilling to stop using cars and that eletric cars are very hard to use without stopping very frequently to charge.

I agree, humans are the main cause of the climate change effects that our Earth is seeing. Where I live in California, wildfires are a big problem that we face every summer due to the drought. That’s a dumb question, everyone knows why recycling is important. But there is so much more you probably didn’t know. Like in 2018 according to recyclingpartnership.org 52 million tons of paper was recycled in that year alone! That’s 52 million tons of an object that weighs like nothing. That shows us how much we throw away carelessly. Also environment.yale.edu states that if all paper that has been sent to recycling is recycled that would increase greenhouse emissions by 10%! So that paper you threw in the recycle, that you could have reused, now contributed to climate change. You might not have an impact but if all people have the same mindset that is what makes the difference.

With all the diseases and sicknesses going on, along with the Pandemic, our lives as humans have complicated the cycles and schedules of many other organisms. If we don’t have these organisms to help contribute to the ecosystem and help raise their niche, If ear that the whole ecosystem is going to collapse. For example, without the bees to pollinate the flowers, they flowers will have excessive nectar, and some animal that feed on plants; specifically flowers, will not be able to eat the flowers since they probably eat them without the nectar inside them. I believe that climate change is not only real, but very much human caused. If you compare the temperature rises in the past few centuries to the past couple of millenia, you can clearly see that nowhere does the temperature change as quickly as it did here. Along with that, if you compare the rising temperatures with a graph of carbon dioxide changes, you will easily see the correlation. The rising temperature graph follows the carbon dioxide changes, but a little behind, as seen in this graph. Along with that, if you compare the increase in carbon dioxide to human population, you will see another correlation, where the carbon dioxide levels only started rising drastically after human population started experiencing exponential growth. If you also compare this to major world events, you will see that all of this started at the same time that the industrial revolution happened. All this evidence points to climate change being real, and human caused, but to fix this problem we definitely need to start using renewable resources, or soon the problem will be too big to fix at all.

Scientists have suggested that the earth has gone though 5 major ice ages in the past millions of years. It is also proved that we're in the middle of an ice age. However, we are currently experiencing a rise in temperature globally. The difference between the previous ice ages and this one is the presence of human beings. Hello, I very much agree with you, in recent years we have been realizing the damage that man has caused to our environment, polluting it and not respecting it. Natural disasters are increasingly common in all countries of the world. For example, in the small valley where I live, in the high mountains, the glaciers are reducing a lot every year, and there have been many catastrophic events: flooding in more countries, storms in all valley and landslides whenever it rains.

I agree that climate change is human caused. But I would also like to add on that it is the big companies that are contributing the most. The big companies contribute a lot to climate change. In "Chasing Ice", a documentary by National Geographic, we see graphs, pictures, videos, etc. that prove the effects of Climate Change. The calving is caused by melting ice, wind, and other factors. In the video, we see a calving event as big as the lower tip of Manhattan. We know that Climate Change is real because when the average temperature gets hotter(caused by greenhouse gases), the ice melts. When the ice melts added on with the change in weather patterns, it causes Calving. You may be thinking, but you said calving is a natural process, so climate change is not real. While Calving is a natural process, the extreme rate and scale that it's happening at is no doubt the effect of Climate Change. Now that we know that climate change is real, how do we know it is human-caused? We know this because of chemistry. Most humans focus more on how the weather will be, that day, in their area, and how it will affect their plans. Its human nature to focus on immediate, typically trivial, problems rather than long-term life-and-death problems. It's hard to imagine how significant the effects of climate change will be, as we are only facing the first stage right now. The solution is to educate ourselves on the long-term effects and take actions in our lives today which will prove extremally important as the threat of climate change does become our immediate problem.

I have done some research and I have found that actually, the technical majority believes in climate change (51% of global populous). The problem is that the other 49% just doesn’t wanna hear it. We burn fossil fuels (i.e. coal, oil, and natural gases), public transport is not as widespread as it should be, the waste production is exponential, and we're cutting down our forests, and those are only few things. If public transportation was used by more people, the overall carbon footprint of the world would decline a bit because it's decreasing the amount of energy that's used in single-person transportation and if we started to produce and consume renewable products our waste production would go down, too. The amount of carbon that we are emitting is astounding and it is warming our planet and changing our climate extremely quickly. We as a society need to create changes regarding our carbon footprint.

I agree that humanity needs a wake-up call and needs to take global warming and climate change seriously. We as a society use so much carbon through transportation, pollution, food, items, and much more. We need to do simple things such as recycling, moving to paper, instead of plastic, using less gas, and using more electric transportation or walking. I agree. Climate change is definitely being caused by humans releasing carbon dioxide into the environment. There have been many other fluctuations in the climate throughout history, but the climate crisis we are facing currently is different than past changes in the climate because it is happening at a much, much faster rate. I think climate change is real and Human-caused. I know that I do a lot of things that contribute to climate change that I can stop doing. We can do little things that can help this cause, but there are also big things that we will need to change to help this cause. Burning fossil fuels for one is a big thing that we will need to change. Deforestation has got to stop as well. Forest are carbon sinks. They take more carbon in than they let back into the atmosphere which is good because the carbon levels in the atmosphere have increased. But cutting down so many trees will stop these carbon sinks. If we keep taking and not giving back there may not be anything left. If we cut down trees replant them but even then we are cutting down trees faster than they can grow. Climate Change is caused through multiple things but mainly because of global warming which grows off of human-based emissions. For example, the burning of fossil fuels produces carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, which will then cause a greenhouse affect. Deforestation and fertilizers can also contribute to climate change and everyday things like transportation are also a factor of climate change. This can increase our wildfires, droughts, increased heat, etc. As a resident of California, I have been able to experience the effects of climate change. Specifically through wildfires and droughts which are common in California. All in all, climate change is in fact human-caused and it is something that we have to take care of.

During my carbon emissions investigation, I learned that a lot of carbon comes from two unlikely sources: Food products and airplanes. I learned that beef is responsible for a lot of the greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere, not just carbon but also methane. The processing, transportation, and distribution by trucks and planes also contributes a lot of CO2. There must be a way to cut down on these emissions by having electric vehicles or non-toxic processing plants. If we could make planes electric or less toxic, the greenhouse effect would rapidly decrease.

All this is happening because of us! Our harmful practices, our inability to realize we need to change, and the coming together as the human race as a whole to fix this. That is not even the end of it. According to NASA again, future effects such as continuous rising temperatures, longer agricultural growing seasons, more intense and more vigorous hurricanes, and drastic increases in sea level will most likely place if nothing is done. I want to grow up in a world that is treated the way it is supposed to be treated. I want to be able to have a world that my future descendants will enjoy and experience life in. And the only way to do that is by changing OUR practices and OUR habits. Individually, not much can be done; I will admit that. But together, we can have our voices be heard. Speak out against harmful oil and gas companies, like Saudi Aramco, the number one contributor to carbon emissions, have peaceful protests, create petitions, host clean-ups, use public transportation, etc. So much can be done; we just need to do it.

Day by day, the climate is getting worse. Big gas using cars are also a big part of climate change too. Many things change climate change and most are because of humans. I want to talk about household energy, elevation, and ocean currents. Hoise holds are mainly the reason for climate change, the natural gases and fuel oils affect the human-caused climate change. As elevation increases, there's less fresh air above us, and air molecules spread further. Ocean currents distribute heat and moisture around the globe, water constantly evaporates and increasing the temperature.

I absolutely agree with this. I heard and saw many marine animal die because the waters are getting too warm due to climate change. I also saw many trees get cut down for business and the water levels are rising because places such as Iceland and Antarctica are melting due to warm waters and a much warmer climate in general.

Climate change is very real and although is is something that would happen eventually, humans are causing the process to speed up. It’s a proven correlation between fossil fuel use/burning and rising temperatures, dying species, and ocean acidification (plus more). On top of that, since fossil fuel use has skyrocketed because it is a popular and sort of easy way to power a plant, factory, building etc. the damage has been even more than what is could have been or stayed at several decades ago. This is totally human-induced, unfortunately some people are in denial and refuse to admit it or even acknowledge it. In the USA there is a large group of people who don’t believe in climate, they say its a “hoax”, these people also listen to whatever the people they look up to say, so one could call them brainwashed. I 100% agree. I think that another interesting occurrence that further proved this point is everything that happened in the wake of COVID-19. Because of the initial quarantines and global shut-down of transportation that is still happening in many places today, the air quality in multiple cities began to improve rapidly. It severely reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and water around the world began to be cleaner. The correlation between less greenhouse gas production and cleaner air and water is no coincidence. While COVID-19 may have affected climate change in a negative way, it also prominently affected it in a positive way, and hopefull people that think it is a “hoax” will begin to open their eyes and see the correlation that is exposed through COVID-19.

My grandparents are very hesitant to believe in climate change. I’m not sure if they’ll ever believe the evidence supported by science, but it makes me really uneasy whenever they make comments denying climate change. Is there a good way I can talk to them about this without making them upset?

I think sharing about facts that are scientifically proven are extremely important in times like these. Pointing out that climate change is not a political thing may help. We are the only creatures on earth that are severely damaging the earth. We are watching the sea levels rise, the ice melt, the animals die, and the plants suffocate right before our eyes. Collaborating and sharing with people that the only way we can get through this is together is critical. There is no way we can fight this battle by ourselves.

Alerting people of climate change is a huge part of stopping, since its impossible to have people fight for a cause they barley even know exists. In my opinion, the first step to bringing it to a stop is alerting everyone to its pretense. Climate change is undeniably real, even if one does not believe it is caused solely by humans, humans most definitely contribute to climate change. Ocean acidification, extreme weather, and the shrinking of arctic sea ice are just a few of the issues that have started ramping up since the industrial revolution. We are a hundred percent responsible for climate change. If you look back you can tell that the levels of CO2 and heat climbed much higher than ever before at the start of the industrial revolution. This is because we started using fossil fuels like coal to power our new fancy machines. From then it's just continued getting worse. We have caused the fate of our planet if we don't stop now. Climate change is undeniably real and human caused. If you look at graphs of heat and carbon dioxide levels before and after the Industrial Age you can see a huge spike. This could be caused by other factors but in reality there’s no denying it was caused at least in some part by humans. The start of the Industrial Age and for many many years, people only used coal and fossil fuels to power machines, and that is one of the main polluters. Although now people have begun to realize that burning fossil fuels is bad, and humanity has begun to steer away from it, there’s no denying that the many, many years of burning fossil fuels had a huge effect and it will take a lot of effort to try to slow down climate change.

Yes, climate change is real, and us humans are causing it. We are at a point where we have to make a change fast, whether we like it or not. The only question is, how can we achieve this? How can we slow down climate change to a point where we don’t have to be worried anymore. There are endless reasons about what we could do to reduce our carbon footprints, which play a role in climate change. We could move towards electric cars, and we could find a way to make large amounts of electricity without burning fossil fuels. We could also move towards better ways of heating houses so that not as much oil is used in the process. We could install more solar panels as a way to heat houses without burning too much greenhouse gasses. The amounts getting emitted daily are causing the planet to warm increasingly which is leading us to climate change. Fossil fuel usage that emits carbon is a popular and efficient way to power a plant, factory, or other buildings. Additionally, its scientifically proven that there’s a correlation between the use of fossil fuels and burning them and rising temperatures. I think that It is completely proven that human activities is a real cause of climate change and us being more aware of our actions is the only way to change our ways.

Climate change is not something that just occurs naturally however, the things contributing to climate change are natural elements. These things like carbon for example were being emitted a normal healthy amount before the industrial revolution but now with the deforestation, and burning of fossil fuels they are being let out in exceedingly dangerous amounts. Cows are also a leading cause of methane production in the atmosphere and were also once a safe and non threatening animal to our environment, but since humans have bred more and more cows and have had to do even more deforestation to create space for them they have become a threatening thing to our planet. This is why climate change was not a problem millions of years ago because humans didn’t have access to the things we do nowadays that makes climate change a legitimate thing.

After watching the movie Cowspiracy, I also agree with Mimi47 thoughts about climate change and how cows are involved. Climate change has occurred because of the greenhouse gases emission that gets trapped in the atmosphere produced by human activity and other factors. i think that climate change does have some, if not all, connect to human impact. i feel like the boom of the industrialization period, especially in europe and the united states, helped bring a big change in technology, but what also came with it was a big draw back from environmental risks caused from the factories and the natural resources that were being used up. most of that energy source that was helping this industrial revolution in europe and other countries was either water or digging up of natural resources. both which had a big impact on the earth, and especially the using of natural resources, but water did so too. if you think about it, if there is a place that you need to have a factory that is solely based on water energy, but there is no water nearby, you would have to make your own. this could cause problems in the soil making it difficult to sustain and leading to an even bigger environmental risk in the long run and near future.

Planet earth had a lot of resources until Humans put his hands on it. Mother earth still have a lot of things to give to us but we take it for granted. The only reason of this is that we are blinded by the desire to please, make money and have a lot of power. Our ego drive us to neglecting our planet and health. Our activities for increasing profits, weakened the earth. I completely agree that the human population needs to become a lot less selfish. I've been trying to get this across to people for years. We constantly think about is our own desires and money, power, etc. No thinking into what we are ruining. And thinking about what's going to happen to Mother Nature in the long run. Overall I think humans need to be a lot more selfless and think more about their actions and the affects.

I fully believe that climate change is happening, but I don't think humans have nearly as much to do with it as people think. The earth has been heating and cooling forever, and right now if you look at the past, we are in the middle of a heating period. I do believe that humans do have a part in it though. Hello. I want to start off by saying that methane from animals is a byproduct due to demand from the human population for meat. Natural catastrophes were originally not a human cause, however, due to the increasing and more frequent amount of "natural catastrophes" it is a different story. The sun does indeed affect the Earth's climate but the heat from the sun would not increase the temperature to an extreme if the greenhouse gases didn't trap it on earth.

Surprise surprise, climate change is real. Climate change has been happening since the start of our planet. Climate change is affected by greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases are made of water vapor, carbon, methane, nitrous oxides, and ozone. These gases have always been in the atmosphere, but it is the matter of how much. Greenhouse gases are necessary to keep warmth on Earth, but too much causes abundant amounts of it to be trapped in the atmosphere. Is Climate change human caused? I’d like to say yes. There is a direct correlation between the ever growing human population and the amount of greenhouse gas being released into the atmosphere. Because there are more people on this planet compared to thousands of years ago, the problem has gotten much worse. It wasn’t a problem back then because there wasn’t over population and increasing amount of resources that were required to sustain the population. Now, as there is more demand for technology, resources, and food, it creates more supply. This means that companies need to produce a certain amount to meet customer’s wants. If more of the human population demands beef or other types of meats, that would mean that farmers would have to raise more cows, thus creating more methane. I am convinced that climate change is real because there is data and reasoning to back it up. What I am not convinced is to the argument that politicians propose because they only spite opinions and reasoning with nothing to back up what they say. Half the time it logically might not even make sense. I am also convinced that climate change is real and a problem because the amount of harm that it has brought to the community and the states. The only thing that would convince me that climate change isn’t real is if the opposing side has evidence saying that the earth isn’t heating up, and slowly killing off animals in the Arctic. Climate change is real and is happening throughout everywhere. We can clearly see the differences of our earth by looking at how it was 200 years ago compared to today. One of the leading causes to climate change is the greenhouse gasses that we are creating everyday. There are 6 main gases are  water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, ozone, and fluorinated gases. Currently there are  400 part per million gasses in our atmosphere. This is what is causing our our earth to heat up. I am sure that you have seen the news in which they shows parts of Antarctica melting and how many animals are losing their habitat and it is getting to hot for them. This can all be avoided if we can be more careful with our actions. We need to start reconsidering the best alternatives for the least amount of greenhouse gasses to be released.

Climate change is real and humans are contributing to it by releasing too much CO2 into the air. You can see the effects of this by the numerous fires in the western side of the USA. But how would you explain the sweltering temperatures millions and billions of years ago? They didn’t burn fossil fuels or coal or have large factories. Yet, their average global temperature rose to above 90°F (32.2°C) which is much higher than our current average of 60°F (15.6°C). In fact, the most boiling times on Earth occurred when humans didn’t even exist! Yes, humans could be contributing to the rising temperatures but this issue has happened before, and without the massive amounts of CO2 humans are releasing into the atmosphere. What we don’t know is if it’s humans or Earth causing this temperature change this time. Is climate change real? Yes. Is it human caused? Potentially. Although humans may only be a small part of climate change, we should still try to lower the amount of CO2 we release. After all, small changes make a big difference.

Yes The Climate is changing and our environment and yes it is humans cause because we have developed so much with electronic and people are using like fans, Cars and others. We humans have changed our world we used to just send email now we can just send it thru our phone in only few Minutes and we can communicate with people with ease but we also use our phone to look at other people and get distracted and we use it to play games alot. Climate change is real and although natural factors like the ocean, cows, naturally occurring wildfires and venting volcanoes produce carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases, humans are the main cause of climate change. The problem is that we don't realize how much the things we do every day can produce such great amounts of carbon emissions. Some things we can do to reduce the amount of carbon emissions we produce is to eat locally, change our methods of transportation and so on. If we were to all change our methods of things like transportation and our food source, the amount of carbon emissions we produce would decrease meaning our carbon footprint would be lower.

I completely agree as the earths temperature rises we are getting further from being able to minimize our carbon emissions. The daily tasks that we do have bigger impact than we realize.

The avegae American citizen seems to produce the largest carbon footprint as said in an article by The Nature Conservecy "The average carbon footprint for a person in the United States is 16 tons, one of the highest rates in the world."

Climate change has been on Earth for a long time and is not done by only humans. We participate a lot but there are also natural participants. . I think, regardless, us as humans need to do a better job at taking care of our planet. I think we take advantage of it and don't realize that if we continue to head in this direction we will no longer be able to survive. We can start with small things like carpooling, walking to school, riding bikes, etc.. just to reduce the pollution. Or other things like , reusing/recycling. Theres so many things we can do to help, even those who don't know much about it theres always a first step.

Yes, absolutley Climate Change is a human-caused. Factories are a big fatcor for Climate Change and we are responsible for this. If we will not take action now then it will be too late to repent.

I agree with this statement and I believe your ways of making Earth's climate better would be effective. I get that there are some natural participants but I do believe that the major change has to come from the humans. There are so many ways to help make a positive change and I believe that you brought a bunch a great ideas to help with this change.

Climate change is real. simply, take a very quick look at each season and you will notice some changes on how the different seasons begin or end. some seasons occur earlier or later than usual and end sooner or last more than usual. During certain winter seasons, we get less or more snow. The very example is this year 2020 we've gotten less snow and less rain than usual.

Climate change is very clearly a big problem. It could lead to the demise of the Earth as we know it. According to climate.nasa.com, "Global sea level rose about 8 inches in the last century. This is important because it means that a lot of large metropolitan areas could be underwater. We are already seeing this in places like Venice, where there has been widespread flooding. This illustrates the fact that Climate Change is as big of a problem as the media portrays. It may be even bigger than that.

In today's world, there is an exponential amount of greenhouse gas emissions because of the increased population.  According to National Geographic "Many scientists agree that the Earth is now warming because of human activity." Thus proving that the increase in the human population is in direct relation to the increase in ocean temperatures.  Along with coral bleaching, there are many repercussions regarding ocean organisms, such as impacting the growth of ocean calcifiers and making it difficult for echinoderms to form skeletons.  Some things that we could do to decrease these consequences are buying energy-efficient products, use less hot water, and encourage others to conserve.
