Is Climate Change Real & Human-Caused?

The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.

But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?

In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Are you or are you not convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused? Why are you convinced/not convinced? What evidence might change your mind one way or the other?

Climate Change isn't only humain

Zelda12

Climate change has been on Earth. It isn't only done by humains. We participate but we aren't the only cause, nature also participates.

Jean-Gertrude

Yes i think that youre right but what do u think e shouldd du

Clara_and_Vegas

True but it is still very hard to stop once it started

Owen-horse

Yea

Zelda12

Jean-Gertrude to reduce the pollution all solution are good. Turning off the lights if its done when ever it can be done can reduce pollution as much as walking to school once.

Sara909

Maybe it isn't all of us but a lot of it is in reality.

Zenone

From the moment humans have lived on earth the world was doomed because if we were not appeared the world would be totaly ok

Zelda12

Its true we are a big part of the equation but not all the equation

Clara_and_Vegas

Yes. Sometimes, you have to look forward to change to know what's really happening. Nature also plays a part of climate change and it is the part that si the most affected

mjbx10

I think that human is one of the factor for the climate change but there is also other things

Zenone2

Humans are said to be part of the equation but humans cause the planet to cause undesired factors wich leed to global warming(for Zelda12 and the other two french guys stop repeating the same words that your history teacher  says)!

Zelda12

Volcano eruption pollute because if the smoke yet they've always polluted, even when humains weren't on Earth yet

Zenone2

Maybe but take in consideration that volcanoes help a lot of ecosytems survive for example pines need fire to reproduce some eagles hunt with help of eruptions and some plants need nutrients from volcanoes so in my conclusion i say that they help all the eco system.

Zelda12

Maybe but with out us the ecosystem of the Earth wouldn't be same. We maybe pollute a lot but we also helped our planet by helping extinguish fire in Australia per exemple.

Zenone2

Volcanoe eruptions always helped and did not pollute the air.

Zenone2

No because we living creatures and all we do is to make profite by desastrous situations and the fires in australia would not have happened if we never apear.

Ps. Sorry for the post on top.

I definitely agree, climate change is human caused. Although this is the case  I would like to point it is not 100% human caused. Climate change has been on Earth for a long time and is not done by only humans. We participate a lot but there are also natural participants. . I think, regardless, us as humans need to do a better job at taking care of our planet. I think we take advantage of it and don't realize that if we continue to head in this direction we will no longer be able to survive. We can start with small things like carpooling, walking to school, riding bikes, etc.. just to reduce the pollution. Or other things like , reusing/recycling. Theres so many things we can do to help, even those who don't know much about it theres always a first step.

Zenone2

You will never stop to say that but humans are all guilty so we say that nature also play a part because it reacts to what we do.
