Each participant is responsible for identifying, securing and paying for their accommodations.<\/p>\n<h3>Air &amp; Ground Travel<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.portseattle.org\/sea-tac\">Seattle-Tacoma International Airport<\/a> is an hour south of campus and you can connect directly to the University and nearby hotels by riding the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.soundtransit.org\/ride-with-us\/routes-schedules\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sound Transit light rail<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyft.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lyft<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uber.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Uber<\/a> also operate ride-share transportation in the greater Seattle area.<\/p>\n<h3>Lodging<\/h3>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/impsci\/hotel-information\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">number of hotels<\/a> in the University area are within a 20-minute walk of the course site. Course participants are also eligible to rent <a href=\"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/impsci\/on-campus-dorm-housing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University dorm rooms<\/a>, available in single- and double-occupancy (wireless internet included). Wherever you choose to stay, August in Seattle is a popular time for visitors, so be sure to book your travel arrangements as soon as your plans are confirmed.<\/p>\n<h3>Disability Accommodations<\/h3>\n<p>To request disability accommodation, contact the <a title=\"Disability Services Office\" href=\"http:\/\/www.washington.edu\/admin\/dso\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Disability Services Office<\/a> at 206-543-6450 (voice), 206-543-6452 (TTY), 206-685-7264 (fax), or\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/pshr\/mailtodso@u.washington.edu\">dso@u.washington.edu<\/a>\u00a0at least <strong>10 days<\/strong> prior to the start of the course.<\/p>\n<h3>US Visa<\/h3>\n<p>Most foreign citizens will need to request and receive a US visa before arrival in the US. Please visit <a href=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/us-visas.html\">the U.S. Visa website<\/a> to review the requirements for receiving a US visa.
