Stanley Whittingham during his recent visit to UW for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trumba.com\/calendars\/sea_cei#\/?i=2\">MSE\/CEI seminar<\/a>.  Dr. Whittingham received the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nobelprize.org\/prizes\/chemistry\/2019\/whittingham\/facts\/\">2019 Nobel Prize in Chemistry<\/a> for the development of Lithium-ion batteries.
