The Journal of Japanese Studies is published twice a year, Winter and Summer, by the Society for Japanese Studies. Its ISSN is 00956848. The Journal is available in Project MUSE®, the online collection of full-text scholarly journals in the humanities and social sciences. Its content is also accessible on JSTOR, with the exception of the most recent five years.
NEW FOR VOLUME 50 (2024): A new program from Project MUSE allows us to offer online subscriptions for individual subscribers. (Libraries should contact MUSE directly to set up an online subscription.) For online access, individuals provide an email address and receive instructions to set up a MyMUSE account to activate access. Online subscribers have access to all JJS content on MUSE for the duration of their subscription.
