Research Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics Ed Kelly has received the Jaconette L. Tietze Young Scientist Award from the UW Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine. He will receive one year of support of $25,000 for his project, “Identification of MicroRNA Regulators of Hepatocyte Development.” The monies provided by the award will be of great assistance in terms of generating preliminary data for a future grant submission and will help with support of graduate student research activities.
