Dr. Scott McClelland, MPH, MD, is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington. He holds joint appointments in the Departments of Epidemiology and Global Health, and is a member of the University of Nairobi STD\/HIV\/sexual and reproductive health (SRH) Research Group. Dr. McClelland is a co-Principal Investigator for the University of Washington Vaccine and Treatment Evaluation Unit (VTEU), which includes sites in Seattle, Kenya, South Africa, and Peru. The VTEU conducts non-HIV clinical trials including those directed at pandemic response, respiratory viruses, neglected tropical diseases, malaria, enteric infections, and STIs. Dr. McClelland\u2019s primary research interest focuses on the intersection between infectious diseases and women\u2019s reproductive health. Methodologically, his work spans clinical trials, mHealth interventions, observational epidemiological studies, and implementation research.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
