Dr. Michelle C.\u00a0Sabo<\/span>, MD, PhD is an Acting Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Washington.\u00a0 She received her MD and a PhD in immunology at Washington University in Saint Louis.\u00a0 Her thesis work focused on the molecular mechanisms of antibody-mediated neutralization of Hepatitis C Virus (HCV). \u00a0Michelle completed residency training in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington.\u00a0 Her current research focuses on how the vaginal microbiome alters HIV susceptibility and cervicovaginal inflammation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
