Directions Now, you will have a chance to practice the dialog aloud yourself with the help of the speakers: Scroll down to the dialog below and silently read the lines for Character 1 in the dialog. When you are ready to begin reciting the lines, click the grey PLAY BUTTONS () to prompt the audio. (When you click on Character 1, you will hear Character 2's line-- YOU are Character 1.) Start with EASY-- this lets you control the pace by listening to one line at a time. Work your way up to INTERMEDIATE-- now the dialog will flow at a natural pace and you must maintain cadence. (Remember that there will be a pause at the beginning for you to speak if yours is the first line of the dialog. This allows you enough time to deliver the first line.) Finally, go for DIFFICULT-- this is the same as Intermediate, but with no written text to help you. When you are finished, switch characters.
