Healthcare and Biotechnology Association (HCBA)

Welcome to the Foster Healthcare and Biotechnology Association!

A Message from the President

The Healthcare and Biotechnology Association (HCBA) aims to help the Foster community understand the various facets of healthcare and biotechnology to possibly enter into the various career opportunities. The goal of the club is to help students from those with no background in healthcare and biotech to those with vast experience to explore areas of interest and impact. Additionally, the club looks to not only consider a career in healthcare but to live healthier.

Rated as one of the best clubs at Foster this past year by students, the club achieves its aims through pursuing a diverse set of activities and events, including speaker series, site visits, experiential learning opportunities, and large networking events. For those interested in pursuing careers in the healthcare and biotechnology spaces, or simply wanting to learn more about these dynamic and impactful industries, this club serves as a valuable and integral component of the Foster experience.

Our 2017-2018 membership dues (for both full-time and evening program) are $45 for a 1-year membership and $80 for a full-program membership. With our lineup of awesome events, delicious food and a Resource book available only to members – its definitely worth it! Students from other schools and departments are welcome to join and take full advantage of what our organization has to offer. To join HCBA: Please pay your membership dues to our official club venmo account: @MbaHcba
