Lecturer,
Clinical Coordinator

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and studied biology at California Polytechnic State University. Following graduation, my interest in medicine was cultivated as I acquired patient care experience in a variety of clinical settings: from a bustling hospital in Nepal, to the tight quarters of an ambulance, to a thriving family practice. After working as a scribe and medical assistant, I earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of St. Francis in Albuquerque, NM. My capstone research paper focused on decreasing health disparities among transgender and gender-nonconforming youth.

I am particularly interested in the intersection of healthcare and human flourishing – both in terms of providing all patients with equitable healthcare, and in terms of holistically supporting the well-being of healthcare providers. I am excited to contribute to PA education and am committed to supporting the mission and values of MEDEX Northwest.
