After being away from higher education for three years and Seattle (and my beloved Seahawks) for fifteen years, I joined MEDEX in Seattle in July 2017 and am delighted to return to higher education administration and to my favorite US city.
As a career and global nomad, I found my true calling in educational administration when I joined The American School in Japan as its Director of Admissions. Before that, I earned my Master of International Business at the Monterey Institute of International Studies, and began my early career in Japan in corporate Human Resources and Public Relations. I have lived and worked in Japan and Singapore in private school admissions and development, corporate consulting, and also worked in private school admissions in Seattle, New York, and Colorado.
My exposure to PA education began at Yale University’s PA Program, where I enjoyed my student services and program administration role after managing financial aid at Yale’s School of Forestry. My career passion is providing my administrative and systems development skills to educational programs that serve students who ultimately serve those in need. When not in the office or classroom, my personal passion is animal rescue and adoption, and on weekends I can be found walking dogs at shelters and volunteering at animal adoption events.
