\n<\/b>Do you see things in the communities you work with and\/or are a part of that you wish were different?\u00a0Do you want to help change the systems that produce health disparities?\u00a0Are you ready to take action?<\/p>\n

Join experienced Sound Alliance community organizers and students from across the Health Sciences this fall in\u00a0UCONJ<\/span>\u00a0624<\/span>. We will develop your skills in advocacy and community organizing for health equity. Participate in different campaigns that work upstream to address the social determinants of health.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Learn the fundamentals of advocacy, organizing, and their ability to impact health.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Apply skills, gain confidence, & collaborate around a community-driven goal.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Work with local leaders to engage in community driven listening campaigns.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Address the social & structural injustices that contribute to & perpetuate health disparities.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
