Here is more information about how our scholarship program works if you need a refresher. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/studyabroad\/students\/resources\/finances\/scholarships\/\">https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/studyabroad\/students\/resources\/finances\/scholarships\/<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gilmanscholarship.org\/\">The Gilman Scholarship<\/a>, which awards up to $8,000 and supports undergraduate study abroad to all locations is now accepting applications.<\/li>\n<li><strong>All students who are U.S. citizens who are receiving a federal Pell grant as part of their financial aid award letter should be applying for this scholarship! No letters of recommendation are required to be considered!<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Use resources such as:\u00a0The <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1G5_qykS6CIL1Vzf3jf0XO9ocEFKd5FwCeCrEtQTYjlk\/edit\">Gilman Writing Guide<\/a>, and\u00a0a <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1IGWMdFNwHiK6hS3v3CGR6Mno4-jr0cIF8LL9wBlv1Cs\/edit#gid=1363386579\">submission checklist<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>Application deadline is <strong>Tuesday,<\/strong> <strong>March 3, 2020 at 11:59pm Pacific Time<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/scottscheapflights.com\/scholarship\">Scott\u2019s Cheap Flights Scholarship<\/a> awards $1,000. Open to all U.S. citizens and permanent residents. <strong>Both undergraduate students AND graduate students are eligible to apply.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Deadline March 20, 2020<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iie.org\/Programs\/Freeman-ASIA\/Apply\">Freeman Asia Scholarship<\/a> \u00a0supports undergraduate study abroad to countries in Southeast Asia. Awards amounts vary by program length.
