The program is designed to teach kids about the short-term health effects of tobacco use, the cost associated with using tobacco products, and the advertising techniques used by the tobacco industry to market their products to youth.<\/p>\n<p>Please bookmark the following page as we will be updating it regularly as more schools sign up. We will also send out sign-up emails when more schools join, but\u00a0<strong><u>it will always be this same link.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1bbe4BHQidS2-oIyb9rreWyIYie7_CMzoBpp4YaXZHQo\/edit#gid=0\">https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1bbe4BHQidS2-oIyb9rreWyIYie7_CMzoBpp4YaXZHQo\/edit?usp=sharing<\/a><\/p>\n<p>On this document you will find the\u00a0<strong>presentation dates<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>school info<\/strong>\u00a0as well as the Tar Wars lead\u00a0<strong>contact information<\/strong>\u00a0if you have any questions. The Tar Wars leader will reach out to the volunteers who signed up to finalize transportation plans and timing a\u00a0<strong>few days prior<\/strong>\u00a0to each presentation.
