{"id":13926,"date":"2021-11-02T16:35:08","date_gmt":"2021-11-02T23:35:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/mswnews\/?p=13926"},"modified":"2021-11-02T16:35:08","modified_gmt":"2021-11-02T23:35:08","slug":"seattle-relief-fund-app-deadline-1115","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/mswnews\/2021\/11\/seattle-relief-fund-app-deadline-1115\/","title":{"rendered":"Seattle Relief Fund \u2013 App Deadline 11\/15"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Program Overview:<\/h1>\n<p>The Seattle Relief Fund is $16,000,000 of funding for direct cash assistance to Seattle\u2019s most vulnerable low-income residents and their households who have been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.<\/p>\n<h2>Award Amounts<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>$1,000 \u2013 $3,000 per household, dependent on household size.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Timeline<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Application open period 3 weeks, from Monday, October 25, 2021 to Monday, November 15, 2021 at 11:59 pm.<\/li>\n<li>Application review period 2 weeks, from November 16, 2021 to November 29, 2021<\/li>\n<li>Award decisions (approved or denied) November 29, 2021 to December 6, 2021<\/li>\n<li>Payment disbursement After December 9, 2021<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Eligibility<\/h2>\n<p><strong>You are not eligible for this Fund if you\u2019ve received payment from the Seattle COVID-19 Disaster Relief Fund for Immigrants in September or October of 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can apply to the Seattle Relief Fund only if you meet income eligibility requirements and one of these situations applies to you or a member in your household:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicant must be 18 years old or older<br \/>\n<strong>AND<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Someone in your household must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Live within the boundaries of the city of Seattle\u00a0<strong>OR<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Is a Seattle Promise student\u00a0<strong>OR<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Is a Seattle Public Schools student\u00a0<strong>OR<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Is an artist\/culture-maker who has owned or rented an art studio or rehearsal space within the boundaries of the city of Seattle at any time since March 2020.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>AND<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your household income is under 50% of the median household income in Seattle in 2020 or in the past 9 months.
