Compensation<\/u><\/b>:<\/b>\u00a0AmeriCorps provides a total living allowance of $25,000 for new members; $26,000 for returning members. AmeriCorps members are also eligible to receive an Education Award of $6,895 at the completion of 1,700 hours served.\u00a0Education awards may be used to repay qualified student loans, as well.<\/p>\n
