The webinar will cover important topics such as publishing, copyright, open access, delayed release, ProQuest\/UMI and university publication agreements, preparing an ETD for submission and an overview of the electronic submission process. Participants will have an opportunity to submit questions.\u00a0Space is limited, register now.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Choosing a Citation Management System<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Monday, Oct. 7, 2-3 p.m., Allen Library Auditorium<\/strong><br \/>\nLearn about three citation management systems that allow you to import, store and share your research citations and automatically format your bibliographies into whatever style you need (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Save the Date\u2014Getting Connected<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Thursday, Oct. 17, 4-10 p.m., UW Club<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Graduate Opportunities and Minority Achievement Program\u00a0(GO-MAP) hosts &#8220;Getting Connected,&#8221; a chance to meet new and returning graduate students of color, faculty and staff from all disciplines as well as benefit from faculty and student panels about how to thrive in graduate school.
