Analyze methodological principles and methods across a range of interpretive research approaches. Identify research design, dissemination, and ethical concerns with each interpretive approach.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Approaches include:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 storytelling &#8211; traditional and digital<br \/>\n\u2022 document, media, and digital text analysis<br \/>\n\u2022 multiple case study design<br \/>\n\u2022 grounded theory<br \/>\n\u2022 ethnography<br \/>\n\u2022 discourse analysis<br \/>\n\u2022 phenomenology<br \/>\n\u2022 narrative analysis<br \/>\n\u2022 policy discourse analysis<br \/>\n\u2022 content analysis<\/p>\n<p>Objectives<br \/>\n1. Distinguish among selected interpretive traditions in terms of each tradition&#8217;s guiding assumptions, research strategies, and methods.<br \/>\n2. Design a qualitative study within an established tradition of inquiry.<br \/>\n3. Describe all phases of a qualitative study, including entry into the site, data collection, data analysis, and the reporting of research results in both written and oral form.<br \/>\n4.
