Ross Mower grew up outside of Denver, Colorado and received his B.A. from Colgate University in Geology and M.S. from Colorado School of Mines in Hydrology. Since graduating, he has worked for data startups, environmental consulting companies, and water municipalities. Ross is currently working on improving snow models through high performance computing techniques and machine learning algorithms as a part-time Research Scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research and graduate student within the Mountain Hydrology Research Group. In his free time, Ross can likely be found in the mountains hiking, biking, or skiing.
