Courtney E. Moore

Graduate Student

Ms. Moore is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College with Bachelor's degrees in Environmental Studies and Music. She began working in Yosemite for the summer field season of 2008 and has managed the Tuolumne Meadows field project since. It was through this endeavor that she joined Dr. Jessica Lundquist's research group at the University of Washington, Seattle.

Courtney's research included how changes in channel geometry can be used to alter groundwater levels in Tuolumne Meadows and inform a comprehensive view of restoration techniques in a changing climate. Her personal interests tend towards travel, outdoor activities, musical appreciation and performance, and discovering Seattle's fine eating establishments.
