Gwyn Perry

former M.S. Student (2016) and Research Scientist

Gwyn received her undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota in her home towns of Twin Cities, Spring 2014. In December 2015, she received her Masters degree from UW. During her time at UW she worked for the Mountain Hydrology group on projects ranging from analyzing forest-snow interactions, to using an innovative bayesian inference method to develop rating curves for streams in Yosemite National Park. She also served as a TA for a graduate level class on water-related data analysis. This Spring, Gwyn completed a literature review of forest hydrology in the Pacific Northwest, for the Chehalis River Basin Strategy. She is currently working at Otak, an international multidisciplinary engineering design firm.
