Hannah Hampson

Undergraduate Research Assistant

Hannah is a fourth year undergraduate student at the University of Washington studying Civil & Environmental Engineering. Growing up in Eastern Washington, she spent many hours outdoors enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. After her first two years at University of Washington, she spent half of her junior year abroad in South America improving her Spanish language skills and hiking around the Andes Mountains. She intends to focus her career in hydrology, and is excited to spend the summer processing remote sensing data and learning more about snow spatial patterns and their relationship with water conservation. Apart from her time in school and research, Hannah loves to be outside, whether that’s camping, backpacking, running, swimming, snowshoeing, or lounging in her hammock daydreaming about her future travels.
