Jenna graduated from Carleton College in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in Biology. After graduation, she worked as a research assistant at the Utah State University Water Research Laboratory, as a teaching assistant for a marine ecology program in Australia, and as a science instructor at the Science Museum of Minnesota. She moved to Seattle to pursue mountain hydrology research with Dr. Jessica Lundquist and a certificate in Global Health and generally enjoy the wonders of the Pacific Northwest. Jenna then completed her M.S. with Professor Mike Dodd on a project working to improve water quality in third world countries. She is currently a water treatment product development specialist in the R&D division of Cascade Designs, Inc. in Seattle (the folks who make MSR, Platypus, and Therm-a-Rest equipment). In addition to her interests in international water resources, her non-academic interests include: dancing, hiking, skiing, climbing, traveling, speaking french, cooking, reading, and music.
