Informatics Application

Application Prep Workshop for students applying to the Informatics Major,
Winter 2022 Admissions by deadline date of Friday, October 1st,
2021

Session A:
Friday, August 27th 2021 OR Session B: Friday, Sept. 17th,
2021

Are you interested in applying to the Informatics program? Please
join the Informatics Advising Team, Dowell Eugenio, Bilen Million and Matt Trease
and EOP Adviser, Linda Ando to learn how to write a strong personal
statement.  In this workshop, you’ll learn tips on how to improve your
writing skills, how to unpack application prompts, and get feedback from Informatics
Departmental Advisers & INFO Peers.

►Priority Registration for Session A (8/27/21): RSVP to
Linda Ando (EOP) at riziki@uw.edu by Weds. August 18,
2021

►Priority Registration for Session B (9/17/21): RSVP to
Linda Ando (EOP) at riziki@uw.edu by Weds. September 8th,
2021 

► Include your Full Name, Student ID # and Cell Number
& Session Date Request: Session A: FRI. 8/27th  (10am –
12noon) OR  Session B: FRI. 9/17th
(10am-12noon) (Limited Space for each
session, Register Early!)

NEXT STEPS: After you register, you will receive an e-confirmation
zoom link and workshop materials to complete before Session A & B – allow a
few days to work on materials for a productive workshop to help you get started
with your personal statement. TIP: Allow ample time to work on multiple drafts
of your personal statement before you submit on 10/1/21.
