Library Research Award for Undergraduates: Call for submissions


What? The UW Library Research Award for

recognizes outstanding research projects in all formats created by
undergraduate students. Any current UW student is eligible to apply. The three
categories are: Lower-division (90 college level credits, or less);
Upper-Division Non-Thesis; Upper-Division Thesis.

Why? Winners receive $1,000 and
University-wide recognition for their outstanding accomplishment.
 Additional awards of $250 are available for projects aligned with the
theme of population health.

When? Deadline to submit is Monday, May 6,
2019, by 11:59pm PDT.

Where and How? Submission criteria and guidelines are available online.

Freshman and sophomores are encouraged to apply for the “Lower Division” category.  The Library Research Award is not just for honors theses and capstone projects.  Research papers with a strong use of library resources at any level will be considered!
