Spring Industry Mentorship Program Application is OPEN
The Career & Internship Center’s Industry Mentorship Program is a great way to learn about an industry and explore professional development topics through small group mentoring. This Spring quarter we are offering a Non-Profit Mentorship Program, and will be piloting identity-based matching for students who identify as People of Color and/or LGBTQIA+. Depending on preferences and mentor availability, students will have the opportunity to be matched with a mentor that shares their identity(s) or similar life experiences. Participating students will be enrolled in a GEN ST 349 for 1 credit (CR/NC) and will meet primarily with mentors via virtual meeting sessions. Application Criteria: (1) Undergraduate student at UW Seattle; (2) Must have completed 3 quarters at UW or transferred to UW with the equivalent credits; (3) Must be available during the Spring 2023 quarter on Tuesdays OR Wednesdays from 4:00-7:00pm. Interested in hearing from past mentees? Check out the Fall 2022 Student Program Evaluations. If you have questions, email Lauren Sevilla at cicmentor@uw.edu.
