\nThe University of Washington East Asia Library is creating an extensive oral history collection, entitled History through Memories and Stories. We hope this collection will ultimately include hundreds of interviews recording the history of Seattle\u2019s Chinese and Taiwanese immigrants through individuals\u2019 life stories. Your oral history is unique and precious, and we are contacting you to ask whether you would be willing to be interviewed for our project.
\n 
\nInterviews in the History through Memories and Stories collection are held as digital files and as printed transcripts, and are available to the public for research. Scholars, researchers, students and anyone interested will have access to this rich material through the University of Washington Special Collections Repository of the Pacific Northwest, the University of Washington Digital Initiatives and the University of Washington East Asia Library. Members of the public can also request copies of interviews. Oral histories are an indispensable resource for understanding immigrant experiences in Seattle, and, through this project, they will become an essential part of the University of Washington\u2019s collection. Currently, our interviews are focused on documenting the lives and experiences of Chinese and Taiwanese immigrants to Seattle who are eighty years old or older, and we hope to include your stories and reflections in our collection.

\nYour interview will be a one-on-one conversation or series of conversations with your interviewer, INTERVIEWER FULL NAME, that will be recorded by digital video camera at the East Asia Library or in your home, whichever is more convenient for you. All recording will be done by one of our trained student producers, PRODUCER FULL NAME. It is helpful to our team, but not required, for you to fill out our project’s pre-interview survey so INTERVIEWER FIRST NAME can better prepare for your interviews. INTERVIEWER FIRST NAME will also contact you to see if a pre-interview meeting can be arranged for the two of you to sit down with PRODUCER FIRST NAME to discuss any questions you may have and to plan your interviews together. We\u2019ve found that the more actively you plan these interviews, the better they will be. \n\u60a8\u8207\u63a1\u8a2a\u8005___________\u00a0(\u63a1\u8a2a\u8005\u540d)\u00a0\u5c07\u5728\u6771\u4e9e\u5716\u66f8\u9928\u3001\u60a8\u7684\u5bb6\u88e1\uff0c\u6216\u4efb\u4f55\u60a8\u89ba\u5f97\u9069\u5408\u7684\u5730\u65b9\uff0c\u4ee5\u4e00\u5c0d\u4e00\uff0c\u4e00\u6b21\u6216\u591a\u6b21\u7684\u5f62\u5f0f\u9032\u884c\u8a2a\u8ac7\u3002\u8a2a\u8ac7\u671f\u9593\u5c07\u6703\u7531\u672c\u6821\u53d7\u904e\u76f8\u95dc\u8a13\u7df4\u7684\u5b78\u751f___________ (\u5b78\u751f\u540d)\u00a0\u5168\u7a0b\u9304\u97f3\u9304\u5f71\u3002\u6211\u5011\u6703\u8acb\u60a8\u4e8b\u524d\u586b\u5beb\u4e00\u4efd\u95dc\u65bc\u60a8\u7684\u554f\u5377\uff0c\u4ee5\u4fbf___________ (\u63a1\u8a2a\u8005\u540d)\u6e96\u5099\u5f8c\u7e8c\u7684\u6b63\u5f0f\u8a2a\u8ac7\u3002___________(\u63a1\u8a2a\u8005\u540d)\u00a0\u8207___________(\u5b78\u751f\u540d)\u00a0\u6703\u5728\u6b63\u5f0f\u8a2a\u8ac7\u524d\uff0c\u5148\u884c\u8207\u60a8\u6703\u9762\uff0c\u56de\u7b54\u60a8\u53ef\u80fd\u6703\u6709\u7684\u7591\u60d1\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u4e00\u8d77\u5b89\u6392\u6b63\u5f0f\u8a2a\u8ac7\u7684\u7d30\u7bc0\u3002\u6839\u64da\u6211\u5011\u7684\u7d93\u9a57\uff0c\u6210\u529f\u7684\u8a2a\u8ac7\uff0c\u9700\u8981\u53d7\u8a2a\u8005\u7684\u7a4d\u6975\u53c3\u8207\u3002\u5982\u679c\u60a8\u4e0d\u60f3\u5b89\u6392\u6b63\u5f0f\u8a2a\u8ac7\u524d\u7684\u6703\u9762\uff0c___________ (\u63a1\u8a2a\u8005\u540d)\u00a0\u4e5f\u53ef\u4ee5\u7d93\u7531\u96fb\u8a71\u56de\u7b54\u60a8\u7684\u554f\u984c\uff0c\u4e26\u548c\u60a8\u8a0e\u8ad6\u6b63\u5f0f\u8a2a\u8ac7\u7684\u7a0b\u5e8f\u3002

\n\u60a8\u7684\u63a1\u8a2a\u8cc7\u6599\u5c07\u5728\u83ef\u76db\u9813\u5927\u5b78\u6771\u4e9e\u5716\u66f8\u9928\u5c0d\u5916\u516c\u958b\uff0c\u56e0\u6b64\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u5c07\u8acb\u60a8\u5728\u6bcf\u6b21\u63a1\u8a2a\u7d50\u675f\u5f8c\uff0c\u7c3d\u7f72\u4e00\u4efd\u6388\u6b0a\u66f8\uff0c\u5141\u8a31\u6771\u4e9e\u5716\u66f8\u9928\u516c\u958b\u5206\u4eab\u60a8\u7684\u63a1\u8a2a\u3002\u6211\u5011\u671f\u671b\u4f60\u80fd\u4ee5\u958b\u653e\u3001\u5766\u7387\u7684\u5fc3\u614b\uff0c\u8a73\u76e1\u5730\u8ff0\u8aaa\u60a8\u7684\u6545\u4e8b\u3002\u8acb\u5c07\u9019\u7576\u505a\u4e00\u500b\u66a2\u6240\u6b32\u8a00\u7684\u6a5f\u6703\uff0c\u6771\u4e9e\u5716\u66f8\u9928\u5c07\u6703\u6c38\u4e45\u59a5\u5584\u5730\u4fdd\u5b58\u60a8\u7684\u4e00\u5b57\u4e00\u53e5\u3002\u5728\u53d7\u8a2a\u4e4b\u5f8c\uff0c\u5047\u4f7f\u60a8\u5e0c\u671b\u67d0\u4e9b\u63a1\u8a2a\u5167\u5bb9\u66ab\u6642\u4e0d\u5c0d\u5916\u516c\u958b\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u5c07\u5f88\u6a02\u610f\u70ba\u60a8\u5c01\u5b58\u9019\u90e8\u5206\u7684\u5167\u5bb9\uff0c\u76f4\u81f3\u96d9\u65b9\u7d04\u5b9a\u7684\u671f\u9650\u70ba\u6b62\u3002\u6211\u5011\u6703\u4ee5\u8b39\u614e\u7684\u614b\u5ea6\u56de\u5831\u60a8\u5728\u63a1\u8a2a\u4e2d\u64da\u5be6\u4ee5\u544a\uff0c\u83ef\u76db\u9813\u5927\u5b78\u6771\u4e9e\u5716\u66f8\u9928\u5c07\u6703\u7aed\u529b\u6eff\u8db3\u60a8\u5c0d\u96b1\u79c1\u6b0a\u7684\u8981\u6c42\u3002\u5982\u679c\u60a8\u6709\u4efb\u4f55\u9019\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u9867\u616e\uff0c\u60a8\u90fd\u53ef\u4ee5\u96a8\u6642\u8207___________(\u63a1\u8a2a\u8005\u540d)\u00a0\u8a0e\u8ad6\u3002
