Our appointments are 45-minute consultations with peer tutors from a range of disciplines. We're proud of the diverse range of experiences, majors, languages, and backgrounds that our tutors bring. Meet our tutors and librarians here.
For Multilingual Writers
In addition to our one-to-one sessions, we offer a range of supports for English Language Learners, International Students, and Multilingual Writers.
Targeted Learning Communities are small group tutoring for multilingual writers around a particular course or major.
Workshops: We host quarterly workshops on reading skills, avoiding plagiarism, and writing concerns.
For Graduate Writers
We know that graduate students have unique needs, and we offer a few resources specifically for graduate student writers.
Drop-in Consultations at Allen Research Commons are tailored to the needs of grad students working on long-term projects. No appointment is needed and sessions can last up to 90 minutes. Winter hours: Thursdays, 9:30 am-12:30 pm.
Open Writing Circles are informal meeting time for groups of writers working on long term projects. Writing Circles are held on Tuesdays 1:30-3:30 pm and Thursdays, 11:00am-1:00 pm, in Allen Research Commons, Red C.
