The Odegaard Writing & Research Center is open to the entire UW community: faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students from any course. We can help with 

Our appointments are 45-minute consultations with peer tutors from a range a disciplines. We're proud of the diverse range of experiences, majors, languages, and backgrounds that our tutors bring. Meet our tutors and librarians here.

For Multilingual Writers

In addition to our one-to-one sessions, we offer a range of supports for English Language Learners, International Students, and Multilingual Writers. 

Targeted Learning Communities are small group tutoring for multilingual writers around a particular course or major.

English Language Support: Have a question about grammar, American academic discourse, or appropriately citing sources? Stop by for English Language Support with our ELL specialist.

Workshops: We host quarterly workshops on reading skills, avoiding plagiarism, and writing concerns. 

For Graduate Writers

We know that graduate students have unique needs, and we offer a few resources specifically for graduate student writers.
