Jessica Moskowitz
Jessica began her UW career 20 years ago when she moved to Seattle from Las Vegas as an undergraduate. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Sociology in 2006, followed by her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science in 2010. During her tenure, she has worked at the Gallagher Law Library and the Elisabeth C. Miller Library at the UW Botanic Gardens. In her previous position as a horticulture librarian, she managed the print and electronic periodical collections, including subscription renewals, cataloging, claiming missed issues and other correspondence with vendors/publishers, and binding for preservation. One of her favorite things she did was answering questions from the public about plants and gardening.
In her spare time, she has become an avid bicyclist, regularly commuting to work and even riding the STP, the Seattle to Portland bicycle classic earlier this summer.
