Registration is now open for the WSDOT Research & Library Services Bimonthly Research Results Webinar, which welcomes all WSDOT employees, as well as anyone invested in the transportation sector, to attend this September.

This webinar will attempt to communicate WSDOT’s efforts to prepare for a Cooperative Automated Transportation (CAT) future. WSDOT is dedicated to working towards the deployment of automated technologies invented to support all modes of transportation and intended to be a safer, more sustainable, and more integrated means of travelling.

In order to better leverage limited funding for infrastructure, support a more livable community, improve economic vitality, and increase overall multimodal transportation system safety, functions of or access to various vehicle types will be automated, vehicles with infrastructure will be integrated, and shared mobility will be further implemented among other methods of action.

The webinar will feature CAT Program Manager for WSDOT, Ted Bailey, and CAT Development Manager for WSDOT, Daniela Breammer.
