PacTrans Undergraduate Research Fellowship
PacTrans is excited to offer an undergraduate student research fellowship program. The opportunity provides an avenue for undergraduates interested in getting transportation research experience under the official supervision of PacTrans faculty. It also exposes them to the world of academic research and provides them with a preview of what graduate school could look like in their future.
This arrangement requires that a undergraduate student identify a transportation faculty member who will act as the students fellowship adviser. The student will then, in coordination with that faculty advisor, must produce a one-page scope of work as an application for the fellowship. This scope should include general information about the project the student will be working on along with the specifics about the student’s contribution to that project and deliverable.
